The Los Angeles Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy is located in West Los Angeles at 2238 Purdue Avenue. The overall purpose of the Academy is to create a dynamic, transformative environment specifically for the process of
Mastery of Wing Chun. As you enter, your surroundings are your first step into another realm. We shift out of the problems and hassles of daily life,
and into the world of the Here and Now.
The LA Wing Chun Academy has two 1000 sq. ft. training halls, with custom Zebra mats, 40'
of mirrors, 5 Wing Chun Dummies (with custom stands), Iron Palm station,
Heavy Bags, Body Opponent Bags (BOBs), and a variety of Chinese and Asian weaponry.
With nearly 4300 sq ft. of space, high, wood beam ceilings,
skylights, and brick walls; LA Wing Chun is inundated with a Zen/Temple-like atmosphere.
The Academy was designed and
constructed by Chief Instructor, Sifu Eric Oram and Academy Instructor
Joseph Perlingiero, inspired by Grandmaster Cheung's Headquarters School
in Melbourne, Australia and the Shaolin Temple itself.
